Just arrived back are 5 of our huge portraits of Radnorshire gentlemen that hang in the Judge's Dining Room. They have been away for the winter - their first trip out of the building since they were painted for the building in the 1800s - and return all clean and conserved, thanks to grant from the Association for Independent Museums.

We are also jumping for joy over our most recent acquisition - the Judge's Visitor Book from the building, charting the judges and their views on the building from the 1920s until the building ceased to function as their lodgings in the 1970s. it is very tempting just to sit and read it, but back to the housework we need to go...
