Courtroom - The echoing trial of William Morgan, local duck thief resounds through the cavernous courtroom. Virtually unchanged since 1830, it is among the most original 19th Century courtrooms in Britain. Sit in the Judge’s chair, stand in the dock, peer from the jury box and pretend to be a member of the press. Lit by an open flame gasolier, which shoots 6-inch flames out of its 18 bats-wing burners. Complete with vents to waft hot air up the Judge’s trousers!
