Pop-Up Welsh Tearoom

Our Summer Fundraiser Welsh Tearoom was such fun, we are running it throughout October too. Serving teas, coffees, cold drinks and cakes - all locally produced and all totally yummy!

Our suppliers are:

Coffees - roasted and ground for us by Footprint Coffee, Kinnerton, Presteigne

Teas - all by Welsh Brew, South Wales

Soft drinks - premium presse, flavoured mineral water and bottled water by Radnor Hills Mineral Water Company, Heartsease, Knighton

Cakes by Lorna - about 100 yards from our building!

All served using lovely vintage china, proper coffee and tea pots, with books and games for kids and kids at heart provided for entertainment!

Help The Judge's Lodging as you help yourself to another lovely slice of cake or cup of exquisite coffee!

Strange But True

  • list arrowThere's nothing like a nice private shower!

Having a shower in Victorian times meant a line of maids passing water up a ladder to the final one who poured it over your head whilst you stood in your metal frame or tent contraption - you can see one at Erdigg, an historic house near Wrexham, North Wales.
